Is nail clipping painful? Nail trimming is an essential part of our job and our dogs wellbeing. Trimming their nails can only hurt if the quick is clipped, which we try to avoid at all costs.
How often should I get my dog's nails trimmed? Dog's should have their nails trimmed once every 5 - 7 weeks depending on how long their quicks are and how short you want to keep their nails
Does my dog have to be vaccinated? It is not a requirement for your dog to be vaccinated in grooming, however it is strongly encouraged to have their essential dog vaccinations up to date to prevent any illness or disease being transmitted. We effectively treat and clean the facility to safety regulations, however prevention and protection are the best course of action to prevent illness and disease. We WILL require vaccination's for our Day Care centre*
How long does a groom take? Grooming can take anywhere between 2 - 4 hours all depending on the dogs' coat, behaviour, style of cut and the state of their coat.
My dog has sensitive skin, do you have products to help? Yes! We have a large supply of pre pro-biotics to support gut, skin and joint health as well as moisturising and soothing shampoo's to support your dog's skin.
How often should my dog get groomed? A dog should be groomed at least once every 6 - 8 weeks for maintainence of the dogs hair. If your dog has access to long grass, is prone to matting, is prone to getting burs and grass seeds, you may want to visit once every 4 - 5 weeks.
How often should i worm my dog/s? Dog's should be wormed once every month for protection against heart worm or once every 3 months for protection against intestional worms.
